iSpray - External lubrication


The iSpray is a unique punch face and die wall lubrication system that continuously sprays dry lubricant onto tablet press delivering a consistent and verifiable amount of dry lubricant onto the tablet outer surface.

Consistent and clean 
lubrication application


iSpray ensures precision tablet lubrication by applying a controlled amount of lubricant directly onto the upper punch face, die wall, and lower punch face. Excess lubricant is immediately vacuumed at the nozzle, ensuring clean operation and minimal waste. The collected surplus is stored in a removable bin, simplifying maintenance.

iSpray features a touchscreen HMI with recipe storage and FDA-compliant audit trail recording, enabling secure and traceable production settings. The consistent spray quantity allows for process validation and uniform results from batch to batch, even over long production runs.

Performance boost for existing formulations

For hygroscopic or effervescent products, iSpray improves the ejection and take-off stages by reducing die wall and lower punch friction. It also helps prevent logo picking and sticking issues, significantly extending the lifespan of your tablet tooling and ejection cams.

Optimized for new formulations

iSpray removes the need for dry lubricants in new or sensitive formulations. It simplifies production and improves tablet solubility, which is essential for many modern biotech APIs. The sprayed amount is precisely controlled and validated to meet US Pharmacopeia requirements.  

Smart dual-nozzle design with backup system

At the core of iSpray’s performance is its compact, double-sided spray nozzle, compatible with most rotary tablet presses. The innovative design ensures full coverage of various tool sizes. Each nozzle is also equipped with a pressure sensor and automatic backup line, which activates if a blockage is detected—preventing costly production interruptions.
